Marcus Duaine Ferguson- Wade, 46, of Murfreesboro, TN made his exit from this world on Friday February 9th, 2018.
Born in 1971 to his mother, Bathsheba Wade Reed, Marcus excelled in sports throughout his youth, playing football for both Riverdale and Oakland high schools, graduating from Oakland. He went on to play Rugby for MTSU before discovering his true vocation: working first in security and then moving on to work in Concert Production. At the time of his death he was a Special Effects Technician for a major country tour, specializing in Lasers. He loved his job and it allowed him to travel the world and touch the lives of countless people as he did so.
Preceded in death by his beloved grandparents George and Beatrice Wade, Preston and Margaret Tillage and his father-in-law Bruce McClure, Marcus leaves his wife Lori McClure-Wade to cherish his memory, along with his mother Bathsheba (Ricky) Reed and father Michael (Gayzola) Tillage, brother Demetrius “Pooh” (Shareta) Wade, Michael Tillage Jr. and Tony Tillage. Also grieving his loss is Aunt Freda Wade, cousin Shiba. Uncles: Kenneth (Mary) Tillage, Carter (Tina) Tillage and Daniel (Carolyn) Russell. Mother -in-law Dean McClure; sister in law Sheila Shaver, brother in law Bruce McClure Jr., sister in law Denise. Nieces & nephews : Gracie, Amyiah, Amie, David, Amanda, Jason, Bradley (Nakita) and Emily, along with a bounty of cousins from all sides of his family.
A memorial for family will take place on Feb 25th at Bradley Academy Museum (415 S Academy St. Murfreesboro, TN 37130) from 3:00-5:00. A public Celebration of Life will occur on Feb 27th at SoundCheck in Nashville (750 Cowan St, Nashville TN 37207) beginning at 6:00, with wife Lori as the eulogist.
