Nannie Mae Batey Foutch was born in Woodbury, TN July 22, 1915 to the late Tom Batey and Angeline (Wood) Batey. She was a long standing member of the Hart Street Church of Christ. Nannie Mae was preceded in death by her husband John H. Foutch. She passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2012. She is survived by her son Floyd (Peggy) Batey, daughter Francis (Joe Hill) Batey, son David (Lottie) Foutch, daughter-in-law Peggy Batey-Cole; brother James Batey and his children; she also leaves 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 28 great-great grandchildren and 1 great-great-great grandchild; cousin Mary “Peaches Floyd, play daughter Anna Riley Clemons and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. Visitation will be Friday, September 7, 2012 from 12 noon to 7 p.m. at Rucker Memorial Chapel, 1505 Bradyville Road, Murfreesboro, TN. Family visitation will be Saturday, September 8, 2012 from 11 a.m. to noon with funeral to follow at Woodbury Church of Christ, 100 East Waters Street, Woodbury, TN.
